Becoming a Christian

What do I need to do to be become a Christian?
Believe it or not, you have already taken the first step!






Hear the word:  
Faith comes through hearing, and hearing comes through the Word of God (Romans 10:17 )
God’s word is truth (John. 17:17)

Believe the word:
Believe that Jesus is the Savior and Son of God (John 20:31 , Acts 16:31 , John 3:16 )

Repent:  
All men are commanded by God to repent (Acts 17:30). This is a change of mind and a change of ways- to Live like a Christian and walk the Christian life. 

Confess:
You must confess your faith in Christ.  Confess that you believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God.
(Romans 10:10)  

Be Baptized for the forgiveness of sins:  
"...baptism now saves you"  (1 Peter 3:21 ).  Once you hear the word, believe the word and have repented the next step is to completely submit to God. This is the turning point from someone being lost to someone being saved and it is an amazing thing!  Baptism is an immersion in water. (Acts 2:37-38 , Mark 16:16 , Acts 2:41).

This is God's plan of Salvation.  This plan is for everyone.
